Studentski klub anglista – Rijeka or SKAR (Students’ English Club – Rijeka) is a students’ club active since January 26th, 2007 at the Faculty of Philosophy in Rijeka.
Every student of the Department of English at the Faculty of Philosophy can become a regular member of this club, which means they can be voted a president, vice president or secretary of the club.
All other students of the Faculty of Philosophy, professors, faculty employees, postgraduates and all those who graduated at the Faculty of Philosophy can become members of SKAR.
All in all, we are a group of enthusiastic students having fun and learning something in the process.

To put it formally, our goal is to protect and represent the interests of the students of English and to promote the quality of studying at the Department of English, Faculty of Philosophy in Rijeka.
Except trying to bring students of the Department of English together we also work on projects you can find out more about in the Projects section of this website.
The fixed term of our meetings is Monday 5 pm in the ex-caffeteria (Trg Ivana Klobucarica 1), but we do not meet every Monday.
Meeting dates can be found on the web and the notice boards.
Meetings are open for new members, which means anyone can come without any obligations.
If it is not possible for you to come to meetings but you are interested in the club’s work feel free to contact us via e-mail.
